My Lord and My God’ , a two hours and forty minutes length documentary is first of its kind about St. Thomas Christians, with special focus on the faith and practices of the Mar Thoma Syrian Church. The story of Malankara (Kerela) Christians is portrayed in an ecumenical ambience. The rare visuals, like that of seven churches of St. Thomas Christians, make it exciting. The first part of the documentary focuses on the historical growth of the Malankara Church. It takes new route by the Coonen Cross event and the reformation. The second part of the film illustrates the mission activities of the church. Candid is the exposition on sacraments and practices of the church. So the film is an integral introduction to the faith, practices, organizations and rituals of the Mar Thoma Syrian Church. This documentary is the result of four and half years of prayers, research, travel, documenting, and dedicated teamwork. This documentary is dedicated to our Valiya Metropolitan Philipose Mar Chrysostom Mar Thoma on His Grace’s 90th birthday.
